It was such a pleasure helping Jay's Catering plan and style their February Taste of Jay's event for their clients to come and taste some amazing food. The wind might have pushed all the festivities inside the Rose Center's banquet room, but it didn't stop us from showing off some of my favorite and ultra-talented wedding vendors in SoCal. When I was asked to style a ceremony, sweetheart table, reception table, and lounge vignettes, I immediately knew I wanted a pop of color. It might have been because I was yearning for Spring or also because I was just so excited that color was finally making a comeback, but either way I was so pleased with how the design came to life. Naomi of Beautiful Savage Flowers took my ideas and completely knocked it out of the park with her designs from overflowing arrangements in vintage vases for our ceremony vignette to the ikebana styled centerpieces on the reception table. I also gave Kelly of Look Good on Paper Co. complete creative design when it came to the stationery and it was better than I could have ever dreamed of. She created the most elevated menus with a floral fabric base and deckled edges on top to accompany beautifully pressed flower name cards. Each detail came together so harmoniously for our event and it was such an honor to showcase our talents for all of Jay's clients. The best part was also tasting all the amazing food that night from the hors d'oeuvres to the dessert of course! Thanks Jay's for the opportunity and cheers to many weddings with them to come!
